Creating Our Own Universe

On friday afternoon a group of us created our own universe using string, blu-tack and glow in the dark stars.  We are not sure if our blu-tack will work.  Mrs Hayman was so impressed with our team work.  There was not a single argument.  Our team shared, cooperated and problem solved together perfectly.  We earned a marble in the jar for our class!

Our Star the Sun vs Other Stars

We brainstormed our ideas about Our Star the Sun vs other stars.  We used the sports field to recreate parts of our solar system.  We talked about how things that are far, far away look smaller.  We used soccer balls to model this.  We hope you enjoy reading our brainstorm.
